As stated earlier with the consoles you either have or you don't with hardware, with the PC it's much more subjective. I am tired of see those stats.
Not to mention the constant flow of "can my pc run this?"
I'm lucky, my computer doesn't have any problems with any games I've played. I built my brothers pc as well and he gets some random crashes I attribute to him insisting on dual video cards (random crash every few minutes with highest settings on bf3, had a Skyrim texture bug)
I don't know why, but my shite just works. I haven't encountered any bugs in Skyrim yet. I know I will eventually, but I really don't mind. Im glad I can already play the game while they are working on any bugs that are still there

One thing I'm curious about...
ETA: I'm an idiot, didn't notice that part about "unlock this shout, spend a soul?"

The only glitch I had in the beginning were minor such as graphics and people running super fast. Only later on in the game 9+ hours certain quest would bug out on many people. I'm reading all over the forums people running into more problems just starting up the game or like my cousin who's game keeps crashing back to the desktop. The game is great but these bugs are kind of ruining my experience of it. Hopefully you don't experience any of these bugs.

This is the kind of bug I am talking about, people who have this kind of problem have a bad copy of the game or compatibility issues, otherwise everyone would have the issue.

I'm doing elder knowledge and so far only minor issues.

Seems they rushed this for the stupid catchy date.
Seems they could have used at least another month and released it for Christmas.
I'm still enjoying it but that is because I haven't started my REAL playthrough.
Right now I'm just goofing off learning game mechanics and seeing what I like and don't like.
I haven't decided if I want a straight up warrior, a bowmaster, or a mage.
First dragon battle, I didn't do much as a warrior as the damn thing kept taking off.
I said I wasn't sure how impressed I would be by the graphics, but when they aren't glitching, it is a pretty game with great improvements over oblivion.
The removal of level grinding, especially uber grinding, does make for a more enjoyable game so far.

The in game dialog and action is way more cinematic and smoother than the past games.
Only problem I had so far was the first main quest where you talk to the blacksmith and he offers you his items. I made the mistake of closing out of the convo and not letting him finish his words.
how much does a house cost?

I found an old lady hovering way up in the air. I tried talking to her and she said "Not now I'm busy." That's the only other glitch I've come across.

Well obviously she's concentrating hard on her levitation spell..

I love how I can almost walk 90 degrees with my horse but a ten foot drop kills it.

Wife decided today was Christmas shopping day. I'm ready to get home and get back at it. I'm only lvl-5 right now, and about to head off to Whiterun.

So how do I go about hanging my troll skull up on the wall of my house?
I assume there will be mods for all of that.. also if I leave something on the floor of my house will it stay there?
And is there an easier way to place something on a table besides just dropping it out of your inventory and hoping?

Ah, must be farther along in the game. Right now she just slumps over for a bit and then gets back up.

she did that most of the time.. but a few goblin-esque things kept beating on her until she was dead dead.. which sucked because after I took my shite off her corpse I was over encumbered..
