Thanks I'll give it a try with Daedric armor I have a good supply of hearts.
I found an ebony dagger with soul trap on someone I killed on the road to Mehrunes Dagon's shrine during the Pieces of the Past quest. I've seen a lot of people say that Warmaidens in Whiterun sells soul trap weapons. Just wait 2 days until the weapons show up.

What weapons trap souls? I'm level 31 and don't recall seeing a soul trapping weapon yet.

I wouldn't even consider it a 'glitch' it is a flaw in the coding. A glitch is something unexpected that happens in certain (often unexpected) situations. For example not having bonuses working correctly or followers not leveling, the PS3 framerate issue, the 360 texture install bug, those aren't glitches, those are major oversights. The game is amazing, I simply wish they would have spent more time correcting these major problems than making 17 different types of goblets or something.

I would consider a glitch the fact that I don't think dragons exist in my game.

I use Marked for Death the most.
I decided to upgrade my armor since I now have double enchant.
I now get:
80% more damage with shield
120% more damage with one handed
62% faster health increase
62% faster stamina increase
75% magic resistance
This is without using the exploit.
I used 1 enchant elixir to enchant dragon armor and gaunlets with 28% smithing boost and a diamond necklace and ring with 28% boost.
I put that on and grabbed some 30% smithing boost potions and made a full legendary daedric set and weapons with double enchants.
I'm going to move the difficulty to expert now.
Oh just found an alchemy boost item so next time, I'll be able to make better potions with an alchemy boost set.

Just fast traveled to a location and had to fight two dragons at the same time, that was actually pretty fun.

the PS3 framerate issue
I'm playing it on ps3 and haven't had any framerate issues. what do you mean?

Wow! The new setup I listed above is kicking too much arse.
I switched from apprentice to expert and still destroyed a dungeon so I might hit up master difficulty.
I might wait until I see how I fare against expert wizards.

Would it be possible to set up another thread for smithing/enchanting FAQs along with a guide to maxing out weapons/armor?
I have some things I could contribute to it to help out.
Or should we just leave all discussion in this thread?

You can enchant 4 items with Fortify One handed
Diamond Necklace
Daedric Legendary Boots
Daedric Legendary Gauntlets
40% per using Black Gem with Grand Soul.
Holy Smoke!
With the stamina boost and that deadric soul trap dagger I am unstoppable and because I set it for only 3 seconds it has like 1200 charges.

You can use this page. It has a nice table that shows which enchantments can go on which items.

If you need to find a location this is your one stop shop, takes a little getting used to.

That's the truth right there. You almost have to use the radar thing to find them sometimes. I left the mud crab for last though. I wanted to see if he's go after the dragons.

In past games you could only get the max in the best items.
I assume it is the same, thus a gold diamond ring might or necklace would hold a higher enchantment than a ruby ring or necklace.
Same would go for Daedric Armor holding a higher enchant than other metals.
I haven't paid attention enough to see if they have the same rules for enchanting in Skyrim.
I don't believe this is the case in Skyrim. You can place the highest enchantment percentages on any type of armor/weapon you want. So your Iron armor would not be different from Daedric armor enchantments.
