I also am getting up at launch. Have a shite ton of heavy synths and motes to lvl up factions and also stocked like 30 or so exotic engrams to decrypt after I run the campaign.

I just tried getting online to mess around for a few minutes. Received the message, "Destiny Servers at Capcity" I'm #327,000 in cue.

I stopped playing shortly before TTK dropped.
If I was entertaining jumping back in, now would be the time right? Before the new meta is ironed out and I have a tough time getting up the ranks?

Leveling up got easier with the spring update they did. Infusing is much more efficient now. Now is as good a time as any.

Tried getting at launch for a couple of hours. After an hour I had been kicked from the queue 3 times, so I quit.

I think it's good now. But I was 38,000 in queue, got kicked, went to like 140,000, got kicked later and shot up to like 180,000. Went back to bed for a few minutes.

Do they? I've never been on at launch, but from what I've heard they've struggled with it before.

I was up for launch of TTK and literally and was signed in and playing the story missions 1-2 minutes after launch.
However, I can't speak for everyone else, I wasn't online looking to see if everyone was getting through or not.

TTK and vanilla destiny they were ready to go more than any other online game. I'm sure they had some hiccups but they are usually ahead of the rest with it.

Reddit is reporting a bug that when you get to LL 350 engram won't decode above 351. Might be worth holding on to them for a couple of days until they fix that because it sounds like a bug.

Gothalion got to 360 light today.
Everything I've heard says that once you're 350+ on every slot then higher gear starts to drop.

People said you can still get 350+ drops, just the engram were a problem. I'm not sure how accurate it is.

Cozmo already cleared it up on the subReddit.
They made it to where engrams have a 50 percent chance of being 1 LL higher than your current light. And that's only legendaries. Blue engrams are maxed at 340.
Just have to grind strikes it appears as of now to raise your light.

Prett cool...there are 5-6 story missions then you get access to the new patrol area. You also get a ton of new quest lines after the story missions.
