Oh wow. I didn't actually check the challenge, was just going off gardoki.
That is one way to kill the no knight strat.

Enough people should be over 315 now that this shouldn't be too tough with using the standard strategy. I am 316 on all my guys now, maybe 315 when using malice.

Someone just told me you can pay 30 bucks to get to 25 now and pay to upgrade weapons da frick

Basically you can pay for a spark of light now. It's the same thing WOW does with letting you go straight to current content. It has no affect on end game content.

Not true.
For $30 on ps4 you can pay for a spark of light and also fully upgrade a subclass.
That's a frick ton of money and I'd assume a lot of players already have three characters. I don't mind this too much. They took the parity of hardcore and casual players away with the difficulty and reward of the Challenge mode the last two weeks. I wouldn't ever buy this, but for example, my Titan's Striker class and my Hunter's golden gun and bladedancer subclasses haven't even been touched.

Yep, I said this would be coming.

Spot on. Lol Reddit is melting right now because of this shite. I look at it and know it will be mostly newbies who pick it up which means more players in the end game pool.
Obviously some try hards will be the ones who buy it and then run the raid for rewards and then delete a character and start again, but if they want to waste their money, let them. I'll thank them when I get some more free events or DLC.

The reason it sucks is because of the entire profit model. This isn't the first time a game has switched to a micro-transaction model and the game has suffered because of it.
What happens is they profit off of these cosmetic, social and cheat to max level items, which allows them to not worry about creating new content (DLC for sale) like new raids or the like. Obviously they are still making new "live events" and SRL is really cool. But it is still a bummer.
According to that article from a few weeks back their game takes way too many resources to make actual DLC and patches. This is all coming because they could not keep up what they were originally wanting to do.

I think this is why it switched more than anything. It's just one of those things I hope they can fix for destiny 2. Hopefully they drop last gen support too.

Cut the plebes off.

That's the question for me. They won't tell us if we are or are not getting another raid before Destiny 2. If they are, in fact, going to deliver free content all year and it's worth a shite, I'm fine with it. If it's nothing but Festival of the Lost and sparrow racing, that's not enough to hold me over for a whole year.
I have no issue with the micro-transactions that have been made available so far, because none of them have given any type of advantage to those who purchase them over those who don't. This newest one has them creeping a little more towards that fine line, though, so it does worry me a bit.
Bottomline, I'll settle for a mediocre year if that all but guarantees that Destiny 2 is really good and they finally settle on one way of doing things instead of no one knowing what is going on or coming next ordeal.

I thought they confirmed no new raid?

Not to my knowledge. They said that they are not doing dlc packs, but I didn't take that as a definite that there won't be a new raid.

Well you should. They are not going to take the time to make a new raid and not charge for it.

I really wish they would come out with the idea they had where it was basically a raid, but, there would be 2-3 teams going through different sections to meet up at the end. I think that would be really cool and add to the longevity of wanting to play it.

Trials it is, then. Speaking of which, here is that 45 team kill game.

ETA: It really bothers me that I missed those two self-res snipes.

Not really sure what that means.
