Saw that too. How hard is it to cap in this game? I remember seeing a stream when BLOPS 2 came out, and the guy was on a marathon to reach final prestige as quickly as possible. I don't get why people think this is fun. Get a steak dinner and shove it down your throat as fast as you can, hopefully without throwing up.

I know, some things you just have to slow down and enjoy. I just don't understand how that stuff is even possible. Call of duties are famous for that. They would reach 10th prestige less than a month after launch and I couldn't reach 10th after a year of playing.

In that stream, I think he reached it in like a day or two. Guy was really good so he was pulling down mad XP every game, but still.

Even with pulling good xp I couldn't play that many matches back to back to back like that. I usually play a little and step away from it and do something else and then come back. I applaud them for their determination though.

there were capped players as soon as the servers opened with devs and their family/friends playing already.
either way i have major reservations about destiny. the halo/borderlands thing comes up a lot but from what i've seen and played it's a very shallow version of both. story(halo) was meh in the beta's and the loot/rpg aspects(borderlands) just don't seem all that interesting.
its feels like titanfall all over again. good solid game but no staying power and massively overhyped which is why i rented it from gamefly. $1 come back pretty please special to play destiny for a month? sure.

I was playing on PS3, so it certainly wasn't any eye candy. Plus I hated getting loaded out of the map when the mission was done. Hope they do away with that in the final version but probably not. That's just dumb.

The next night I was doing a mission that never loaded you out. You would have enjoyed that one but you took your ball and went home.
I don't know how the final game is yet to know how it shakes out though. I just knew I liked it enough to get it and play.

We could have gone further, but he wasted a stupid amount of time in Sanctuary before that last fight. Vending machine, gold chest, change skin, vending machine, gold chest (all the while griping about what he was getting), vending machine.....................

That sums him up pretty well. There is always a lot of complaining, especially when you don't want to do exactly what he wants when he wants.
