can you buy a shriving stone in the fire hub? Sorry. I'm just at work and chomping at the bit to get back home. 
I don't know what's more torture. Me at work working what seems to be an endless work day waiting to get home and play DS3, or me actually getting home and diving into it dying a zillion times trying to git gud

I know there's one early into Road of Sacrifices, but fire will do you fine until that point.

Played for about 40 mins last night (got up to the first boss with both an assassin and a herald). Good fun so far, though getting used to the controls again (ps4) takes me some time.
Hopefully, with more play I'll get better at natural targetting, otherwise unless I use the "lock to target" feature, I swing and miss (kinda like golf).
Are there any major changes folks make to controls/camera angles? Or are most/all of ya'll running with the defaults?
Hoping to squeeze in an hour tonight.

i need a new controller bad. my R1 button keeps sticking and it's fricking me up big time. i popped the button off and theres a plastic tab that broke off inside the controller smh.
if yall havent already, make sure you go to settings and set HUD to Auto. Makes the HUD fade in and out depending on what you're doing. If you sprint, you'll just see your stamina bar. if you swing or throw your shield up, you'll see everything

My controller is in need of replacement as well, my grips are completely off..it's not a big deal but it can mess you up in the crucial moments.

Took yesterday off (had an extra vacation day, so I figured why not)... Sucks being back at work tonight, hoping to get in a few more hours when I get home.

after reading a bit, I'm grabbing that early Katana and using that as my base DEX weapon for now.
That bastard is hard to kill though (left of the fire shrine)

Hit him from a distance with spell or arrow
Fire made short work of him
Having trouble figuring out where to go after killing him.

I did the jump trick to get on the roof and walked around to where he was. he started running into the wall that i was standing on, then did the weapon art for his katana, swung, went through the wall, and died

When is the last game where you liked the bosses? I feel like I remember you not liking bloodborne bosses either but maybe I'm wrong. We all know ds2 bosses sucked.
