on playstation/PC you can, xbox doesn't allow you to or so i've heard i think. but even if you did, you're gonna be sitting for 5-10 minutes trying to find a console only match (all PS or all Xbox). it's better to just leave it on. you're not going to know either way if you killed or died from a PC player or not. this isn't counter strike.

There is an option on xbox to turn it off but it only let me play alone. My friends couldn't join me and i couldn't join them. Ftr they are xbox players who also turned the crossplay off. Before games it shows who is pc,xbox or ps on my screen..with the amount of players it would be no problem to find xbox only lobbies. Worked fine on vanguard and cold war.

In my experience, it’s never worked well, and I can’t imagine there’s only a couple hundred folks that opt for it anyway. Especially long term.

Playlists update daily outside of your normal patches. When you first load the game, I want to say there’s a popup that literally says “updating playlists” or something like that. Wait til after 1pm/et tomorrow when the official launch of season 1 happens.

Thankfully it seems pretty easy
M13 in WZ1 was prob my most consistently used weapon over the years. Always reliable through all the nerfs and buffs of everything else

Battle pass is up and running just got it.
Also the Tier 1 playlists are live and are no joke. Use to always play Hardcore back in the day, but the past few weeks had me running around all kinds of crazy.

Played two rounds of DMZ with random teammates.
I am past my prime in online gaming. Have three kids and just straight up dont have time to game like i used to.
But this gametype seems pretty cool. I was a little overwhelmed but best way to describe it is that one the round starts its essentially open world do whatever you want. Want to hit a strong hold? Go for it. Want to go find some other operators? Have. Want to merk on some AI and level up guns? Why not!
Im sure there a A LOT more to it. but that was my first take away.

i'm more interested in DMZ than WZ. i've been watching lupo today and it appears that it's similar to the coop missions with real enemy players on the map and AI bots. complete some objectives for XP, loot some weapons to bring with you next time, and extract successfully. risk factor losing it all if you die or fail to extract.

Just got extracted by running across the map dodging ai with the cloud right behind me. That was fun. I really hate the movement mechanics tho. Might just be new to it.
