Noob Black Ops 3 question

It's my first time playing Black Ops 3. I used a token to unlock Perk 1 greed or whatever it is. It looks like it's using up one of my ten slots and I don't know how to remove it. The other slots let you press X to remove, there's no option for that on this one.
How do I get rid of perk 1 greed to get a slot back?

There should be an option to remove it, but if you can't find it - Just equip what you want, when you get to 10 it will ask you what you want to replace when you try to equip something else.

Scroll all the way to bottom where you equipped it and press X to remove it
