I'm new, so chill out! What do you recommend, can i have both the SSD and a harddrive??

yes, and I'd recommend it. Put the OS and a couple games on the SSD and use the HDD as your data drive

And shake the haters that will come out in this thread. We all learn sometime.

He made pretty good choices other than the video card.

I prefer this case for the money. This is what I just used to build my new one. You would need to add a couple of 120mm fans to the front though. It does not include front fans.

Are you reading the thread ? That is NOT a gaming card. You will hate yourself if you buy it. Get a GTX 680.

Okay, that sounds good. Do you recommend a specific SSD?

gpu = graphics processing unit aka video card. The video card that you are purchasing sucks huge penis. Like the others said, get a GTX 680 if you are willing to spend 600 on a gpu/vcard

Make sure it is SATA III

Can't go wrong with OCZ, Intel, Crucial, Samsung.

OCZ's seem to have a higher failure rate though.

Of course I am. I am very thankful for all of the responses! So I've changed the Video Card to the GTX 680 once it comes in stock.

Updated it on the OP.

Don't be afraid to look around for the vid card. I snagged mine from Tiger Direct. Everything else I bought from Newegg

That's a nice one. Make sure you read up on how to enable TRIM in Windows 7 for your SSD

Now for the new question, how well will this be able to play lets say...diablo 3? Is this good enough to run on high settings?

Yes. You are WAY WAY WAY beyond what you need for Diablo 3 at Max settings.

You should be able to run any game at 1920 x 1080 with all settings maxed out for the time being.

Also, do not try to overclock that CPU unless you use an aftermarket CPU cooler. The Intel stock cooler is OK if you are not overclocking.

Well sir, thank you very much. You have been very helpful. If I were near you, I'd buy you a cold one.

To all the others, I think i have finalized what it will contain. The OP has it. If you see anything else, let me know! Again thank you very much!

Cheers!

Not exactly sure what that means...
I have seen a video on it on getting an aftermarket one.

If you manage to find a GTX 680, you will have yourself a monster of a gaming PC.

One more thing, you might be able to save a few bucks by buying 4 sticks of 4GB ram, instead of 2 x 8GB

Same brand, but 4 x 4GB for less money than 2 x 8 GB

I appreciate the thought, however question...if i wanted to get more RAM with lets say 4 X 8 GB ram later down the road, could I swap the 4 X 4GB later with those 2, and if more 4?
