need for speed rivals, any good?

Is this game good, would you recommend buying it?
My only N4S experience is carbon (liked) , pro street (didnt care for). Rivals Looks to be more like carbon, thats why im interested.

I haven't played it, but I wonder if it's worth a purchase as well. I would love to have a racing game for Next gen as long as it's worth it.

I bought it for XBone. I dig it. I will say the racer career went pretty quick (less than 10 hours) and the cop career is going even faster.
With that being said - the game looks great visually on the new console. If you like Rivals you'll probably like this one.
The open world type setup is pretty fun as well.

I picked this game up when I purchased my xbone because i enjoyed hot pursuit. I returned it after one week. If you want to acutally race against other players, get forza. The open world in rivals is a good idea, but you do not have the option of just racing against other online racers. Only way to race against another online player is if you happen to find them on the map and challenge them. There are only about 6 online players in the open map.

This is horrible advice. GT and Forza are simulation racers where the game is designed to be very realisitc. Need for Speed is an arcade racer where it's designed to be fast and fun. You don't compare Burnout and NFS to Forza and GT as they try to do different things.
