Here's a question, since seeding is going to be random, should those who get lucky and draw the higher seeds also get to have home field (not that it matters that much)? Or should it be neutral sites?

You can just use the 4 bcs bowls and maybe the cotton and capital one bowl and 2 other locations for the first round. Then the 4 bcs bowls. Then 2 of them. Then 1. That way its all neutral and no one gets an advantage that way.

This seems like a good idea. Have the championship played in the Sugar Bowl.

Yea, that seems fair, hopefully they will have the NC Game as a field choice then we could just have the championship game on the "real" field they'll have in January

I think you can in unranked games, which is what I figured we'd do

Honestly, you could pick 8 other bowls to begin with, like lower tier bowls. Then the 4 BCS bowls then maybe 2 BCS bowls that you won't use for the NC game, then use the Sugar Bowl as the NC game. So you'd maybe only play on the same field twice.

Something like this:

First 8 games:
Cotton bowl
Cap One bowl
Gator bowl
Outback bowl
Chick-fil-A bowl
Liberty bowl
Music City bowl
Pinstripe bowl( )

Next 4 games:
Orange Bowl
Rose Bowl
Fiesta Bowl
Sugar Bowl

Next 2 games:
Maybe here you could do the higher seeded home games to keep from having the same fields again?
If not you could maybe do:
Rose Bowl
Orange Bowl

National Champ game:
Sugar Bowl

Like the idea, only problem is I decided this is a double elimination tournament so we are gonna have way more games than that. I'll figure it out as we get closer to tournament time

Good news is we wouldn't have to use any bowl more than once in a double elimination tournament (31 games to 34 bowls). Now I just get to match up bowls to games
