MyGM on NBA 2K14 - loophole in contract negotiation problems (Xbox One and PS4)

SIAP, but I found a way to change the contract information when negotiating with players. If all you want to do is change the salary amount, you hold down the left or right directional pad while you're in the negotiation and it is your turn to either "offer the contract" or "walk away". Holding down the directional pad will make the game change quickly between these two options, and once it starts clicking rapidly, you slide your thumb down to the down directional pad button and it should slide the cursor into the salary portion of the negotiation screen.
If you'd like to change more options, offer the prospect the standard offer and once he rejects it, you hold the down button on the directional pad before it is your turn to resond. While holding down on the directional pad, continue the conversation and when it your turn to talk appears, while you're holding down on the directional pad, it should slide you into the negotiation window. I would recommend holding down all the way to the last option, because once you go up from an option, you're not able to go back down to it unless you repeat the process.
FYI, I saw this on Twitter and it works pretty flawlessly me on an Xbox One. Supposedly works the same way for PS4. It is pretty shitty that you have to find these loopholes just to play the game, especially this far after release, but I digress.

My head, has exploded.
If you play the game and you're getting stuck at this point, then it will make sense. Minus the glitches, the game is pretty incredible, so anything to get through the glitch is worthwhile IMO.

Idk if I'll play MyGM or not, addicted to MyCareer and The Park something fierce.

Just tried it on the PS4 and it works.

When it worked for me on the Xbox, I was pretty stoked. I've been waiting for a patch since I got the game two weeks ago, and the loophole pretty much saved the game for me.

The most recent update has helped, but before that the game was pretty fricked up. Aside from the amount of hands popping the ball back through the net being counted as blocks, I played a game last season that wasn't even on the schedule. It was just thrown in there and not recorded at all afterwards.
