MW3 party problems

Trying to get my friend in a party with me, but for some reason it keeps telling him he is unable to join. Anyone else have this problem or know any solutions?

you press Y and send him an invite?

Could have something to do with NAT make sure he has it open

Probably because you or your friend has your NAT type set to MODERATE or CLOSED. Should be set to OPEN.

we experienced that problem when one or more people had not downloaded a game update and the rest had. once everybody had reset the xbox and downloaded the update, the problem was gone.
