Anyone else got it? The dynamic pitching/hitting this year is pretty good. The franchise play is the exact same. Haven’t tried online yet or “be a pro”.

I have it, but haven't had the chance to play a single game yet. Been working on college rosters, which are dropping in about an hour.

Is anyone else having zero luck challenging a friend to an online game? It seems messed up or I can't figure it out

I don’t play online at all and I’ve only played road to the show so far.

But as of right now it feels a lot smoother than last year. Check swings are more consistent and just overall hitting has become smoother.

That’s really all of I’ve got right now and it’s a super small sample size but I’m enjoying it

Picked up yesterday.

I mostly play franchise. One year I got to like 140 games. Hopefully this year I’ll aim to play 2 a day or so, and I can complete a season.

I only played 1 game, but pitching seems easier. I fanned 13 in my first game using the sliders I played 19 on. Also I’m not a fan of the fielding. If its not exactly in the green its an error. Had like 4 errors

You'd rather college over professional baseball?

Nah. I can’t stand college baseball. The game moves too slow and the ball parks are too bland.

I don’t think you can beat a warm April day sitting in a stadium like PNC and seeing the bridge in the background or Busch and seeing the arch and skyline

I finally got a chance to really play, and my overall impression so far is that it is GREAT.

I feel like a vocal minority group plays games these days just to let people know what they hate about it. The Show is the one and only game I buy pretty much yearly. I was going to skip this year until they announced the customized teams in franchise mode.

I bought Madden last year because of editable draft classes, and I'll buy this year because I love Joe Burrow that much.

But back to the show.....

It usually a buy for me every year just for updated rosters. This year it was for the chance to customize teams, but once I actually got to play I was massively impressed. The defensive animations are much much smoother. It's a big improvement. Then the rest of the game is just so much better to me. Maybe it's because I'm getting the chance to play as LSU (which is also another credit to the game), but everything about the game this year is much better. Last year if I had a fast runner on base and it wasn't a 1-1 count, I could steal 95% of the time. This year that doesn't work. Pitchers are slide stepping and pitching out in much more steal situations. Take a bad angle on D and you are screwed. Run against a big OF arm and you are gunned down. It's real baseball this year. I am really enjoying it.
