Definitely much more tolerable in the Legendary edition since they added the booster to it. Even then, it gets pretty old after a while trying to hunt for unmarked resources to survey on each map. If that wasnt a thing i think i would enjoy it much more.

It would save a lot of time and headaches if they marked the resources to survey on the map from the start.
