How is this possible? I thought the Xbox One X was roughly the same as a 1070?
*shrugs*
If after watching his video, you have critiques on his methodology, I would be open to listening to them. Or if you have an alternative video, I’m happy to watch.

Turns out I fixed it on accident by reinstalling Radeon software and all driver.
A full uninstall with DDU followed by a clean driver install should be step #1 when faced with any kind of GPU frickery. It will save you a lot of heartache in the future.

But stop saying you’re getting high settings 4k 120. You’re not.
Getting more than you would with a 1060.
And you would do a full driver wipe and reinstall before troubleshooting all settings and such? C’mon, man! I screwed around with all gpu, cpu, mb bios and everything before I did that—still wasn’t convinced that it would be the probably but it was a desperate Hail Mary, so glad it worked.

We can quibble over that if you’d like, as long as you acknowledge that you aren’t actually getting high settings native 4k 120

Yes. I can count of one hand the number of very specific issues with my gpu that would send me to my bios

I usually do a clean install anytime I update the driver. But if I face any gpu frickery at all, it’s getting wiped. Takes less than five minutes. I actually typed out the process from memory the other day while I was sitting in court waiting for a matter to get called up: LINK
I never waste time doing extended trouble shooting until after I’ve wiped and reinstalled the driver and the issue persists.

Girl please. I am getting 4k 120 hz while playing r6, I said what I said. No native 4k? Cool. This is really a dumb argument being that the term “PS5” is concrete and “PC” could literally mean anything if you pump thousands worth of parts into it. I said my PS5 was performing better than my PC—which it absolutely was. Turns out the PC was having problems, which brings me to a whole other issue and nod towards the console imo.
I have both, I can actively compare both. I’m happy to share my findings. I find it interesting and welcome the conversation.

Your system dynamically lowers your settings, both graphical quality and resolution, to keep you at 120fps. If you still like the way it looks, great. But you’re objectively wrong claiming that you’re getting high settings 4k 120.
And to circle all the way back around now that you’re making arguments other than that your PS5 blows your $4k out of the water graphically: my reply was that, if that’s true, there’s something wrong with your system.
Turns out I was right. Huzzah.

I wonder what kind of FPS I would get running a game like Siege with settings on low and DLSS set to performance?
You know, being a 3080 can get over 140fps natively in 4k with ultra settings

Yeah I thought we established that.
Welcome to the new conversation, it’s great to finally have you here. Do you own a PS5 or are you strictly PC? Tell me about your rig and what you play.

You’ve been an aggressive jackass this entire time, spouting off about things you fundamentally don’t understand. So, frick off, and enjoy lusting over your kid’s super smooth Minecraft frames

I’ve admitted to being wrong initially and been completely willing to converse and discus topics—which is what the board is for. You’ve been a sassy little girl about it who’s obviously now had their feelings hurt because someone has an opinion other than that of their own. Which you’ve now resorted to borderline insulting a 5 year old and his video games. I’m sorry we like our PS5 as well as our PC, I genuinely am.
Tell me, do you identify as she/her or they/them?

I switched about a year ago and quit controller cold turkey. Quit playing fps that focus on movement and running and gunning. Started playing more realistic shooters like squad and I’m loving it. The aiming was pretty easy for me to get down but the keyboard really messed with me.

Best decision you'll ever make!! Playing Cod at 1440 at 180 FPS and Apex at 1440 240 frames is fricking magical. I literally cannot go back to my old xbox.... Like I have halo and unfortunately there are crashing issues on PC.. and my friends told me to just switch to xbox.. Couldn't do it.
Also I started off on controller because I literally have no experience with mouse and keyboard... and I'm left handed so aiming a mouse is very hard for me.. Because I'm VERY dominant left handed
Like my right is barely connected to my brain.. However I went ahead and forced myself to learn.. It really sucked at first going from really good at video games to playing like a toddler
However the switch was 100% worth it. I believe 80% of people have a higher ceiling when it comes to gaming on mouse and keyboard. And it's honestly more fun...
Only main problem if you play FPS's is that losing aim assist on close engagements is VERY hard to get used to... and honestly you'll never be quite as good as you were on controller bc AA is so damn strong. Basically aiming for you. But it's a necessary evil so dont jump me for saying that. But your long range aim will be 10x better

Bamabenny has been talking about that. There must be some kind of pervasive driver issue going on with that game.
Also, why didn’t you just get an ambi mouse and remap your keyboard? I can’t imagine trying to learn to game with my left hand

I have become the victim of cyber bullying.
But seriously, you are welcome to go back and read the thread to see that I was not the start of the jackass-ery. The hostility and hurt feelings towards my lack of PC knowledge was shocking, as well as the reoccurring under handed comments followed by the

Loosen up, fellas. I come in peace.
EDIT: never mind. I see you’ve gone and downvoted all of my post as far back as I cared to look, EVEN THE GOOD ONES what kind of monster are you
