I'm thinking about picking it up in the morning. Anyone else play it? I really like the concept.

i think, from what ive read on here a little bit, most people are a little cautious right now getting it so soon and want to wait to see what difficulties there might be with 250+ people in a game

I hope the gameplay is less derivative than the plot (blatantly ripped from Metal Gear Solid 4).

I like the idea of different squads all working together to obtain the same objective. I like games that actually require team work.

I got it and having lots of fun. teamwork is a must and your k/d ratio is useless. nice change of pace from call of killstreaks 2.
there is a little lag in the 128 vs. 128, but nothing that ruins the game. no llag in sabotage(32 vs 32) and acquisition (64 vs 64) and those modes are more fun imho.

been in development for years.
Planetside on the PC had 500+ fighting it out in a persistent world years ago FWIW.

I own both. I just don't play the PS3 because I prefer my xbox. MAG is a PS3 exclusive and I want to try it though.
I'm not leaving my sex box at all though. I still think Xbox > PS3

My BIL told me about MAG last night. I hadn't heard of it until then.
I may give it a shot eventually, but I want to wait awhile to see some reviews on gameplay, etc.

I got on Justin.tv last night before I went to bed and watched someone streaming their game play for a second. It's a lot more slow paced it seems but I still would like to try it.

MAG is not a run & gun game like MW2.
