First time trying this game out, I can tell why it got a bunch of 6-7 star ratings something is just missing. The soundtrack and world are awesome but the gameplay is just lacking. Lincoln runs like simple jack and the gunplay is awkward. It also feels like there’s no freedom in the open world, just shoehorned mission to mission, I guess there’s a reason it’s free this month

Great story and good game play, sad thing is has the most repetitive open world though.

If only

A few missions in and it opens up. Honestly though, that's the worst part of the game.

Mafia II has the most pointless open world ever, but it's a very good game and much better than III. The protagonist of II is a prominent NPC in III.
