It is and from what I saw when I searched around I think they are gonna make one. Their college football games were awesome too. I remember a friend of mine had the one for dreamcast and we played the hell out of it.
this will be great. EA needs someone to out heat on them

I hope 2k makes a college football on next gen since that contract is up already....I think
you must not play 2k much? Nba 2k has SO many problems its ridiculous. Not to mention they can never keep their servers running.

Never played their NBA games, I just know their football games were the best. They have videos on youtube comparing 2k5 player models and movement to Madden 13 and 2k5 beats it. The EA deal runs out after this year and they still haven't renewed yet which is a great sign.

I thought that they couldn't renew a exclusive deal

Well no shite, they have zero competition.

If competition pushed companies to make better games than why does MLB 2K blow compared to The Show?

In some cases it doesn't, but the fact that consumers have only one choice when it comes to an nfl game is rediculous. Competition drives ingenuity. I feel, as do alot of other people, that Madden has been stale for a long time now.

Madden and it isn't remotely close to me.

They're both stale but madden is just a smoother, more enjoyable game.

The show is something exclusive to one console so there is motivation to bring baseball fans to the Ps. EA long before 2k came along and took over with 2k5 especially with the 20 dollar price point, had sat on their hands and did nothing so they bought the license so you retards would buy the same game for 8 years in a row now. Congrats on still buying these games every year because you added fuel to the fire.

MVP Baseball was far better than MLB 2K5 as well. But whatever, EA is evil and junk.

The Show is "exclusive" to PS3, however MLB 2K is still released on PS3 so The Show still has competition so to speak.

No idea why you're laughing at this, Madden is absolute trash. The only people who enjoy that game are the ones who just look to play online or head to head. EA gives absolutely no shite about other features or game modes outside of say Ultimate Team because that makes them money.

The infinity engine was a great idea, but the execution was HORRENDOUS! After each hit, you'd think someone started up the Benny Hill theme in the background as players fall all over themselves, run into each other, so on and so forth. There is no OOMPH to the game anymore, when you run with Adrian Peterson, it should feel like you're about to take on 225+ lb. defenders, not Gumby.

I played the NCAA demo for the first time last night. It seems like the gameplay is slow and inconsistent. I was playing a&m vs. Oregon. And i was getting my arse beat on varsity difficulty. I can't figure out the defense, and i can't break away from blocks. And the run game is pretty bad. The line doesn't block. It felt like tecmo bowl with the entire defense tackling me when i hand it off. Oh, and i was 30 seconds left and i scored a td to tie the game, and of course, the game freezes. Every single edition of NCAA has frozen on me, and it typically waits until near the end of the game.

I'll be waiting to get NCAA this year, party because i'm getting married next weekend, and partly because i have a feeling there will be some major glitches, typical of EA fashion.

Absolutely. The EA exclusivity deal is a shame because the biggest sport in America is trapped in a shitty game franchise. EA doesn't have to really do anything because they know people will buy Madden no matter what because it is the only NFL game available. It is an automatic money maker out of the gate no matter how shitty it is. Its pretty much a monopoly.

I'm sorry i do not spend every waking minute playing video games. I'm sure there is a learning curve, i just don't have the time anymore to figure it out.

And i'm more concerned with the freezing issues than my shitty playing abilities.

You don't need to put down gamers in general just bc you can't figure out how to get better at it. You can't just expect to be awesome right away. I would say its taken me about my 3rd year to really be on my game now and be able to at least stay competitive with just about anyone.
Its fine if video games aren't for you, or you think you're too cool or something, but to me it just sounds like someone who's mad they aren't getting better without any work.
