Who's your MLB?
I opened up a 97 OVR James Lauranitis last weekend. So I looked at what he was worth and the other MLBs with similar ratings. Dansby seemed to have ratings that I liked more and was about 20-30K cheaper so I sold Lauranitis and bought Dansby. Got a better MLB IMO and profited 20-30K

Funny enough I got a lot of the badges for dirt cheap. Anywhere from 500 - 5000 coins. Some of them were pains in the arse and thankfully Vols gave me SB 23 because the cheapest that one was going was like 80k at the time.

ETA: He's solid against the run and he's a sure tackler, plus that play recognition is great. But his speed is abysmal, he gets burnt constantly on drag routes, and HB out routes. I mean badly, he might as well not even be on the field. If I'm in man coverage, that HB out route on 4 verticals like a free 10 yards if I don't adjust quickly before the snap.
I end up putting him in QB spy, and usering LT to cover the HB, it's annoying. But there really isn't another player available right now that I'm willing to spend coins on.

In his first H2H game with the Shaft Squad, Brian Dawkins had:

Faulk is FO REAL, at first it was an adjustment getting used to his acceleration and agility, he's too fast for my blockers . Now that I adjusted, he's averaging around 30 YPC in solos, and almost 8 YPC in H2H. Plus he's the best receiver out of the backfield that I've EVER used.

Hey what playbook do you use on offense? I'm actually rolling with the Saints defensive playbook but I've been on the look out for something offensive. I would like one based on a mobile QB because Steve Young has some decent speed that I like to take advantage of.

I currently use the Eagles playbook.
Eagles, raiders, Dolphins, and redskins I've heard are good for mobile qbs. Panthers is good, but they're mostly power qb runs, wouldn't recommend with Steve Young.
I've also heard the "Run n' Gun" premium playbook is the best.

Eagles and Raiders are the best on offense. They're essentially the same playbook though.

I've been using the Bills 3-4 for awhile. I like it.
I prefer the 3-4 because I want to have as much speed on the field as possible.

The counter for the Mike Scrape 3 Press nano blitz is slide protect right.
If the D-line shifts left, slide right, if it shifts right, slide left.
Finally figured the glitch out.
There's also another nano that destroyed me last night, it shut down my running game as well.
It's run out of cover 2 invert. Figured it out today. As far as I know, there's only one way to stop it. Deep passing routes, pinch line, block with the RB.
Hope this helps, as you move up in the h2h levels, you run into more and more of these nano blitzing figs.

Thanks I'll keep these in mind though I think I might be moving on from Madden soon enough. Gonna go onto Doom I believe as well as some other games.
