The Miller still won't buy stuff from me

Also if you knockout people and no one sees you. Does that hurt your reputation

I love this game. If I had to use one word to describe it I would say refreshing. It has problems for sure but there is a hot fix coming today and another patch coming soon. So they are working hard.
Sidenote. If you get a chance to drink with a priest make sure you do.

I feel like the latest update on PS4 fixed most of the glaring issues. There's still things like lock picking being terrible though. The devs also need to drop the pretentiousness and let us quicksave without savior snaps.
Randomly attacking a guard so that I could get thrown in jail appeared to reset my rep with the citizens not just of the town I was in but pretty much every town that didn't like me. For what it's worth, I found this more efficient than hunting for bandits.

Raiding bandit camps nets you a ton of money though. Loot as much as possible and sell it all.

how do you find them?

Either run across a camp with them or the guy you train swords with at Rattay (forgot his name exactly) will eventuality give you a quest to raid multiple camps as you progress through the story.
Poaching, cooking the meat, and selling it will also net you a lot of coin.
Got about 10k in a few hours.

I agree with this, the saviour schnaps thing is a pain as is lockpicking. I understand that lockpicking is supposed to be difficult but it is impossible with a ps4 controller.
My biggest complaint right now though are the hit boxes when trying to pick up herbs and open bags. I feel like you have to put the reticule in the perfect position for the game to recognize what you are looking at. It drives me crazy.

Mule Perk. Keep playing and you'll be able to carry more.

Just now getting to rattay. Only money for me so far is from playing dice and junk from the bandits I killed at skalitz.
combat is a bit clunky, dialogue is slow and a bit annoying. Other than that game is pretty intriguing.

I refuse to pay $60 for this game, knowing it will go on sale before too long and will actually be better with a few patches/changes, but im glad that a lot of people are apparently supporting the dev and that should make my future experience better

I base a games worth off of the # of hours I'll get out of it. Anything less than $1 an hour is a steal IMO.

Most of the major issues have been fixed, but the damn Bailiff's office in Ratay still stays locked. I started some quest in there to get the scribe some medicine, but when I returned, the door was locked and stayed locked for days on end.
It's a good though I had learned how to read because I realized that I didn't even need to complete that part of the quest to progress the story.

I’ve just started playing and just realized that I didn’t have to fight the soldier chasing you in the first mission
I died about 20 times.

I can't get back into Talmberg. The gate is shut from when I escaped at the beginning of the game yet there are quests that ask you to talk to an NPC in the town. The only way I've found to get in thus far is to get arrested by the guards on the outskirts of town.
Only it sucks because the countdown timer takes forever, and you have a significant debuff that has to wear off

You'll play for like 2 hours then find out you have to go back because something is bugged. There is no way to tell if the citizens hate you or not... Like if you sneak behind someone, knock them out, and steal their stuff does that affect it? Even if no one sees??

Citizens not talking to you is a way to tell if they hate you.
I'm pretty sure knocking someone out doesn't cause you to lose rep with citizens unless someone spots you.
Even so, if you find that NPCs won't talk to you, just do something to get put in jail and that should reset your standing with the citizens.
The game though is still pretty buggy. I literally can't get into Talmburg without being arrested first because the gate is closed. This makes certain quests impossible because you have to ride a horse into town.
The time it takes to sleep, wait, serve your prison sentence and fast travel is annoying. Is it just disguised loading screens or did developers intentionally make it take that long?
