Just bought the Xbox One S and having difficulty getting my old GT on here.

I set it up and it gave me this default gamertag for whatever reason, how do I go about adding my old account and deleting this generic one?

Sounds to me you didn't actually sign in to XBL, which is where your gamertag would be.

Pretty sure when you sign in you have to enter a Window's ID that should be attached to your gamertag.
