Finished Legend of Dragoon the other day, great game, but man the ending is so drawn out. It has the typical late 90s/early 2000s jrpg trope where once you get towards the end they keep pulling the rug out from under you with the whole “this isn’t the real bad guy, THIS is the real bad guy” and you have to complete a whole nother area and fight a different final boss. I thought I was at the end several times when I wasn’t even close lol.
