re: Is anyone still playing star wars battlefront EA

I played for about a month and got tired of it. Very disappointing considering I was really looking forward to this game for years.. The game looks great, but there's not enough content. It's kinda like a movie with awesome cgi but no story. I might go back after more maps are released.

For me it's a combination of this and no difference in characters. Both sides use the exact same weapons and load outs. There also doesn't really seem to be much difference in the types of guns, basically all the characters seem the same.
Saying this, I still really enjoy playing this game in spurts, and it's much more fun in a party than solo

I was all jazzed over the beta. Bought the game and realized it was beta + 2 maps. Returned it after 2 weeks and used my store credit for Division. As someone mentioned, was a good showcase game of current gen capabilities, but lost its appeal quickly. I could also not get over the laser velocity compared to BF4. After playing so many FPS games that use kinetic rounds, the slower projectile velocity really made this game unenjoyable to me.
