Invitations For PS5

What has been the time frame for invitations sent to purchase PS5s? Have any of you experienced this?

PS Direct had a time where you could sign up to get a special link to purchase a PS5 instead of waiting in a physical queue during a random drop.

You send a request and whenever the PS5s are in stock invitations are then sent out to individuals to see if you are still wanting to make the purchase (a time frame to answer the invitation is in check as well).

I don’t even know if they’re doing those anymore. They’re getting pretty prevalent now. GameStop has had them in store for the past 2 weekends or so.
I’ve got a thread on all of this, but people haven’t posted in it lately. Kinda figured the board has one by now.

I signed up for an invitation on PSDirect in early May. I have not received an invitation yet.
I "requested" to purchase one on Amazon back in May. I received an email 3 weeks ago to purchase the Horizon Bundle.
So, keep an eye out for Amazon too. It came through quicker for me.
Lastly, ditto on the Hotstock app. I had a few opportunities to get one at the alert but missed it because I was at work or not near my phone (the alert also comes to your watch if you have one).

I got the invitation three weeks ago and then I was able to buy one the following week. It was quite fast.

I believe so as well. When ebay is only selling for $100 over retail, I think that's a sign they are at the end of their rarity run.
