Months and months ( probably 8) I thought my ethernet port was fried on my Mobo.
Well tonight my wifi adapter started to die. 200 ping to local servers
so I broke out the old chord again. Apparently it was the port on my old modem and not my PC .
I have wired connection! weeeeeee

I don't know how I missed it. I could have sworn i plugged my ethernet chord into the laptop and it worked fine so I just assumed it was my PC port. Never had any real issues with wifi so I never had a reason to test the port again until yesterday.
It was when Conan Exiles came out early access, so it's actually been a full year, and the servers were so sketchy every time I would try to join it would lock the modem up and reset it.
