So finally got around to picking this up mainly because it's 50% off on Steam and I have to say it's one of the best games I have played in 2016 and overall one of the best stealth games in the genre. Only on the third level but it's safe to say that the level design is top notch, there are so many ways to take out your target it almost makes you want to replay them to see how to improve. Also I'm not a person that typically replays missions but it's different in Hitman. Every run is basically a new mission because there are a variety of ways you can go about to take out your target, it makes no two runs feel the same. Anyways I would buy if your on the fence it's easily the best stealth game this generation, and IMO unlike MGSV it's actually fun.

I also picked it up at 50% off but haven't started it yet. I would have played full price if they didn't do the episodic release bullshite.

Yeah I am not the biggest fan of episodic releases either. I would rather have it all day one but if the developer actually puts in the time over episodes and improves the game I am fine with that as well.
I expected this practice from a smaller developer, not a huge one like Square but I understand why they did it. Also I would have to look back but I think originally they said they did it to get funding for the game which is probably bullshite pr talk. I do know Square has been bleading money on a couple of their bigger IP's lately.

Maybe it worked for them but no game will ever get full price from me for it, if they are happy with me playing half price then good on them I don't mind waiting.

From everything I have read I think the episodic release is good for a game like this. They designed it in a way that each mission has replay value and they have offered different incentives to do so. If they released it all at once it would just be a game people blew through then complained about how it only had 4 maps or whatever the number is.

I get the reason and can appreciate it, but I am not paying full price for a game that releases over six month, that my just be me though.

Others feel the same and I thought that when they announced it. After what I've read though I think it is very good for a game like this.

I am part of the problem then, I want a good game and I want a full good game at release. I know devs haven't been able to do this for years, it's plagued Ubi and rightfully so.

Well I know you hate being deprived of finishing a game on the first day

Does the way I play games just make you want to punch a baby?

Do yourself a favor and play hitman blood money if you've never played it. Goat

This game goes way to far with separating key functions, one keystroke could be used for so many actions but they go so far as assigning left leg and right leg walking to different keys.

Complaining about controls now, this thread has your complete package.

Complaining about controls now,
Binding is almost ok, some keys cant be rebound but nothing too bad, but I am serious you have to use one key to scratch your left nut and another to scratch your right one.

Yeah this game is way to fricking tedious, you stealth fans will like it though.

You stealth fans? How do you know I identify as a stealth fan. Don't assume my gaming loyalty or gender.
