Has anybody seen the new legend of zelda game coming out to the 3ds?

I was wandering if it was a remake I link to the past or a sequel to it. I still have my Super Nintendo and link to the past was my favorite game.

sweet. I like some of the 3d Zelda's, but they are getting kinda old. I'm glad they are making a sequel

I think it's still unclear exactly what it is. It takes place in the same overworld as ALTTP but it might be a totally new quest, or it might be the same quest with new puzzles and game mechanics mixed in.

As far as I know it is straight up a sequel. There isn't really any question about that.
Some confusion stemmed from the fact that it has been mentioned that there will be a return of the Dark World from the original (which was kind of destroyed in the original) and people aren't quite sure how that will work out with the story.
