Ah, cool. I'm at 373/500 in tour 6. Haven't tried a tour 7 match yet. I've actually enjoyed your 6 easily more than any other. Love the more creative holes. Plus about half the time my opponent screws up in the hole or the shootout leading to an easy victory.

ugh, went from 1620 to 1407 in the past 3 days. won 1 out of 12 matches. 
i would guess 5-6 of those losses were hole in ones by my opponent on the playoff hole. sigh.

im at around 1150 trophies right now. Game is starting to get a little stale. Go to playoff, person who goes last gets a nice advantage. Rinse, Repeat.

Love the simpleness of the game, really addicting but PLEASE hide our setup on the playoff holes and make medium range putts harder.
We should get rewarded for close approach shots.

So I got to 1857 trophies and 5.6 mil gold. I played Tour 9 4 times in a row and lost in the playoff by a few inches each time. I went back to tour 8 and lost my arse off. I was winning all day yesterday and now can't win a single fricking match. I think time during the day has a lot to do with who you get matched up with.

I just stumbled across this thread, and I'm so glad I did! I agree with what everyone has written.
Has anyone come across the little dickweeds who start going crazy with emojis and messages in an effort to try to screw you up on a tough shot?
Also, I've noticed that the game will "penalize" you for a day's worth of losing streak after you purchase coins or forfeit a game.

I've definitely noticed times where I'm playing and it feels like the game is making me lose on purpose. Usually I think the timing of my shots are off or the wind is far off from what it's shows. I'm nearly to 1200 trophies and working through tour 7 so I'm generally pretty damn accurate when estimating the wind but sometimes I swear the game adjusts is so my ball takes a shitty bounce.
Woukd y'all recommend upgrading my driver or wedge first? I've got the extra mile(4) and the skewer(7). Was using down in one but it was difficult to make longer chips without the guidance. I'd like to get a driver with more curve to it.

I'm currently on one of those streaks that makes the game feel rigged. I just now chipped one in to beat the guy I was playing, and the game mysteriously loses connection with server, and it's like I forfeited so I lose.
When the game gets like that, I stick with levels 1-3, so I can still play but it's not sucking up my coins.
It's truly a very shitty part of this game. As soon as I win a couple of games, I start going up a few levels and what do you know? I start hitting great shots and start winning again.

I just went down to tour 4 to get my pin chest. 3 games in a row my opponent chipped it in with a fricking iron to beat me. That's fricking ridiculous

I really fricking hate this game. Last week I made it to Tour 9 and was sitting at 1850 trophies with 5.6 mil gold. Now I'm at 1631 trophies and 35k gold. I'm not getting any clubs I use from tour 5 chests and can't buy a win.
I'm also sitting in Expert 1. Do y'all think if I were to drop down a few leagues the competition would be easier??

i'm with you. and i agree with all the "necessary" changes that needs to take place with this game for it to keep my interest long term.
this game is just full of Ups and Downs. The Downs are straight devastating. Last week i went from 1750 to the mid 1500's. Couldn't win a Tour 7 Match to save my life. This week i've gone pretty much .500. Win 1, lose 2. Win 2, lose 1. Just floating between 1700-1750. I actually just won my final game in Tour 7 to max it out.
But like an idiot i decided to try out Tour 8 to see what the courses look like. My 4 chest slots were full of Tour 7, then I went and won 2 Tour 8 matches. One by a Hole in one, the other with a chip in from the sand trap. Got the trophies to get up to 1820ish, but no Tour 8 chests to show for it. I'm sure tomorrow I'll lose 5 Tour 8 matches in a row and be on the verge of uninstalling the game.
I sent their Support Center a short list of changes I would like to see made soon, basically:
- Rubberbanding. If one opponent hits it in the bunker off the tee or in the rough, then in real golf, they are at best getting Par. They are very unlikely to tie with someone hitting the fairway every stroke. The distance of the Sand Wedges and Rough Irons needs to be cut in half.
- To go along with this. If one opponent drops their approach shot within 5 feet of the pin, it's not fair the other opponent can just as easy sink a 35 foot putt as the opponent who accurately placed the shot within 5 ft. Make putting from long distances much harder.
- Again, i get that you want this game to fun and the learning curve to be easy for newbies, but don't put those who are skilled at a disadvantage because the rubberbanding is so strong. Don't be mistaken, your users don't want to go into a playoff every single round they play.
- Another competitive talking point. An opponenent should not be able to see your exact shot marker placement on Draw / Overtime Matches. That's fine if they see the club, see me moving the cursor around, but just don't show shot placement or the shot line. Because it's a huge huge advantage to the person who shoots 2nd. They can copy and paste with a slight adjustment, thus win every single time. It's infuriating.
- And finally, for the love of everything that is good in this world. Completely mute or turn off the emoticons or statements while an opponent is in the shot view. People are spamming these and it causes a slight lag or is distracting. Or at least make it an option to completely mute emoticons by opponents.

I've got the exact same problem with collecting clubs. I use the extra mile and I've gone from 22 to 26/50 cards to the next level in a couple weeks. And most people I play have at least the 5th upgraded version with more power and top spin than mine.

They want you to buy more gems.
I deleted my app and reinstalled it. Started over again. It's actually fun playing at the basic level where the reason you win is because of your actual skill and not the upgraded club you're using.

on Saturday I got back up to $1.9 million. I was playing in Tour 8. I'm now at $20k and playing Tour 4. This game sucks when you are at your low, but addicting as hell when you are at your high.
