I like the red (obviously).
Stout, I think the majority of the board is thinking about going with the first logo. Can you slap some more colors together? If you put a bunch of different colors in the OP we can vote on which one would be best, bring it to Chicken, and boom, new board. Im just not digging the blue, the design is awesome though. I'd say keep the Tron logo in the running as well.

The banner color is going to be whatever we decide on for the whole board. Like the green does now whatever is there will cover everything.

I don't think that would be a big deal. I can do gradients like that so it's no problem to make it and see.

As long as its not a problem for you. I can throw ideas out there all day but until the final product is shown I'm kinda stuck with what I think it will look like.

Instead of purple and gold, you could do green and blue to represent Xbox and PS3. Maybe some red detail for PC (no clue why?)

No shite this isn't a UGA board. Thanks for the clarification. 
I was simply suggesting that if we go with 8 bit, MOST of the GB associates 8 bit with the following photo...Take note of the colors:
