definitely not...lots of full nudity on female victims, tons of F bombs, mentions of rape and semen, and other pretty heavy stuff for a young one

IGN is a trusted source. They're spot on with all their reviews. Their complaints were unwarranted, but this game is short in the open world area. There just isn't anything to do

Skyrim could be sub par if they bring back the awful world leveling system and muddy combat.

Level scaling was fixed in Fallout 3.
Combat looks to be better with the addition of dual wielding and finishing moves.

I'm not saying Skyrim won't be good or great, but I don't think it appeals to a big enough fanbase to actually be included in GOTY consideration.

I'm just saying that with the type of games that are dominating the market now, like any COD game, it's going to be tough. Although, since those games won it (which I didn't know), they might actually base the award on it actually being the best game, not popularity or political reasons like.................any other award

I see what you're saying. It's tough to figure out GOTY because there are literally hundreds of websites/magazines that give a GOTY award. Some actually give it to the best game, others you can see some bias. Usually if a game is really good, it'll win at least one GOTY.

Sadly it's started to look that way the last few years. It's a pity because for a while their GOTY awards were very well thought out. The best games actually would win like Resident Evil 4, BioShock, and Oblivion. Now it seems like a popularity contest.
