This is a little closer in comparison, but it's still two completely different games. H1Z1 is still more of an arcadey game and much faster paced. I originally played H1Z1 solely, but now have 300+ hours in PUBG. I cant stand H1Z1 now, it fricking sucks. The H1Z1 community is terrible too.
Fortnite is far more fun than H1Z1 since it has more depth to its gameplay

Someone suggested going to watch streams, and that is very true. You can really see what each game is like that way.
