Fishing for Feebas

Unfortunately I fired up my old Emerald game a week ago and thought I’d try to fish one up before I realized what I was getting into.

There are six (count ‘em, SIX) tiles of water on the entirety of a route with well over A HUNDRED TILES that have a chance to fish up a Feebas (and only a 50% chance at that, so you’d better fish each tile ~5 times to be sure you didn’t miss it).

There’s no way to even slightly cheese the system and eliminate some of the tiles from contention. No tells that would indicate one spot over another.

Only raw, brute-force grinding in the most mind-numbing manner will succeed.

I decided I didn’t need one that badly. I’m currently running Flygon, Heracross, Gardevoir, and Blaziken. Thinking about adding a Salamence but not sure if I feel like going through the trouble of catching it up.

Is jynx in this game? That thing was op af in gen 1.
