Man, one thing that can really ruin my day is when I play a long quest but forget to save right before the boss fight, lose the fight, and then realize that I would have to replay the entire quest from the start. I don’t know why, but even though it’s my fault, it makes me want to throw the controller and never play the game again.

Any other silly pet peeves that really get on your nerves in games?

The fricking nerds who can't grasp that the goddamn raid starts at 8, not 8:03. How am I supposed to level Danellia the blood elf if these fgts don't show up on time?

Games that don't have a pause button. I'm married with a full time job and 2 kids. I'm busy. There are times when I have to stop what I'm doing because someone needs me.

When my mom enters the dungeon, I just give her the ol' side eye and she gets back to making the pizza rolls.

Definitely one of mine. I'll take this further and say that I absolutely despise unpausable and unskippable cutscenes, especially the latter. I remember the final boss in Kingdom Hearts 1 was a pain in the arse for me, to the point where I probably rewatched the same cutscene like 20-30 times.
