Someone school me on nonFE cards. So basically other companies get cards from nvidia and upgrade the normal card with a few bells and whistles and sell it for a higher price?

Just installed it. Seems a little convoluted to set up... then again, I've never set up a script before

I'm sitting on this page: LINK

When you have a sec, would you mind walking me through what I'm looking at?

essentially, yes. they'll adjust the bios and overclock it so you won't have to. add/remove fans. add RBG lights. the usual BS.

So, that used to be more accurate than it is now.

Nvidia makes a reference board. It sells that reference board to other companies, referred to as Add in Board, or AIB. Those companies can leave the reference board alone and just add their own cooling solution, modify the reference boards, bin them, etc.

With that said, the Nvidia FE cards don't use the reference board. It's just as custom as any AIB (on average). It performs better than some AIB cards, not as good as others. Just depends.

you shouldn't have to access that page. just install the extension like any other extension.

once it's installed, click on the settings tab and adjust the whitelisted/blacklisted terms to your choosing.

then sit open your cart on best buy. it will be empty but you should have some cards saved and the extension will read them when the ATC button appears. it will wait for the "please wait" button to change back to ATC and add i to your cart automatically.

That's what throwing me. I'm not seeing a page with any internal settings. When I go into the settings for the extension, all I'm seeing is the normal run of site access, allow in incognito, etc.

Are the actual settings buried somewhere else?

I do now that I see how you navigated there...

I was trying to get to it through the general extensions settings page. Didn't occur to me to go directly to my bar...

Ignore me; I'm an idiot

So for clarification, this won't generally notify me when there is a drop. But if I'm on when there is a drop and navigate to my cart (assuming I have the item I want saved and my whitelist is correct), it will then automate getting it into my cart, and then I take it from there for checkout?

it's probably best to leave your cart/saved items page open with that extension enabled on days that are expected to drop.

Fair.

Does it need to be the top/visible tab, or just any tab?

Also, has BB dropped online any day other than Thursday in the recent past?

I keep checking to see if the 3080fe has gone hot. Hasn't yet.

I already have a 3070fe in my system, so I can be picky

Honestly, even more than wanting a 3080fe, I think I kind of want another undervolting project to work on. It's a fun thing to tinker with when I'm looking to relax my brain
