Ok. He added me the other day. I'm on now. Those Sky chains you told me to farm is working freaking awesome. I've leveled 3 times in the past two hours.
4 more levels to go until 50.
Jeff, you were saying if I use the 9 CPs correctly it would take no time for my remaining characters to level up.
What did you mean by this?
Any advice? A few youtubers were saying to complete an entire constellation as fast as you can?
Can you tell me where to put them that would make leveling the remaining characters faster?
Thanks,
Err

yeah, you can make money off the chains, get armor to deconstruct, armor and weapons to use. And even some odd items that work. I end up loading up with about 100+ items from chain, sell, deconstruct, etc. It's how i bought my house on NA server.
I usually farm them in the Ebonheart stronghold, where you begin the game. the chain over by the ocean, after the Blue crab boss, has shalk armor, rings, necklaces, etc.
Shalk if you get 5 pieces gets you ur bonus magic powers quickly. Like the dragon leap for my dragonknight. I end up with 4 to 5 of them in 1 chain farming.

eh, it's all good, i couldn't figure out that you needed the racial ore + ore to make armor/weapons. I tried several times and turned it off, while almost chucking the controller.

Fast travel to Davons watch Wayshrine in Stonefalls.
Then from there, go north , then west at ocean, and follow it to Daen Seeth Dolmen
here is map, it's North, then west from wayshrine.
I'll be there farming stuff. Wearing black armor.

jeff
you on xbone? if so, i have a boat load of enchanting stones.
since enchanting does not level my guy up(high level), zero reason for me to enchant right now.

this question is eventually going to come up so I may as well ask now.
I read on r/elderscrollsonline that armor sets that PROC are the best for pvp at the moment.
So, I'm leveling clothing.
question: how does one acquire the ability to craft the high end sets. obviously you need mats and the crafting rank but where do you get the "patterns"

You guys may wanna try the Alik'r Desert for farming. Usually a group running amuck. You can thank me later. 30 min max per level and huge drops. Only 2nd to Skyreach at Craglorn, but much easier. Once leveled hit up the Arena in Wrothgar for some of the best weapon drops in the game. Or hit it pre and post Champion points if you like

I finally got to 50 after grinding all weekend and made my 7 new characters.
I'm going to try the following builds:
1) Warden- nightblade- stamina
2) Nord- DK Tank- stamina
3) Breton- Templar- magica
4) High elf- sorcerer- magica
5) Dunmer- sorcerer and argonian slave owner- magica
6) Argonian- Nightblade- magica
7) Orc- Sorcerer- stamina; but I'm hoping to really use him for crafting for the other players
Anyway, no idea where to put these Champion Points. I've had enough eso; maybe I'll get back to it in a few days.
If anyone could help with those CPs and where to put them; I'd appreciate it.
Main character is Dunmer DK, maxed out 50 on all dragon knight skills (earthen, ardent, etc)
Alchemy 13
Blacksmith 22
Clothing 23
Enchantment 13
Cooking 32
One hand and shield 37
Thx

With CPs look at each trees unlockable passives(starts at 10) as well as the benefits along the way. For instance elemental anything is always good, as well as criticals, nearly everything else is dependent on how you play. You can always reset as well if you see you made poor choices or could have done better. It may not matter as much early on until you have a lot more. I've got over 500 and each of mine are significantly different for each character. When I get back I'll hit the grind Thursday night to get to 630cp so I'll be ready for the next threshold bump. I dump a lot of points in restorative skills, elemental and critical damage. Prepares me for anything, solo or group

I went to alikr desert, and these chains are mediocre for farming.
rings and necklaces is all i get.
Seriously, the one in stonefalls is 10X better, weapons, armor, rings, necklaces, malachite shards, etc
And you can go beat on the Large Blues crab for even more stuff.
Been at this Alikr chain for 2 hours, and it's humming quicker than any other chain, and still just same stuff. nothing great. I still have an iron sword, because the chests have mediocre stuff in them.
The dungeons might be good, but these chests for these chains are rubbish!

My bad, it was the easiest leveling chain a month ago. It may have been reset. I've become fond of the Ebonheart Pact chains myself lately, and maybe their better now due to Morrowind proximity, I didn't consider changes since Morrowind

Seeek, how many Dolmens are in that area you told me about?
It took me a long time to find it because my game started in the south (south haven) maybe? But I am in the Ald Dominion and think the game starts in three locations depending on what you picked.
I may have been at the wrong dolmen; because I never saw a blue crab.
Anyway, that place is a wasteland. Worse than New Orleans after Katrina!

here is a map of Stone falls
On Far right is Davons Watch, and the Davons Watch Wayshrine. From Davons Watch, go North/West, you will see the Harborage(start of main quest) and continue NW, you will get to the ocean, then start going west. Map lays it out pretty good.
I can meet you at davons watch.

Joe
the creatures you kill give more stuff in alkir, but the chains aren't jackpots like in Stonefalls.
You can literally hit the Daen Seeth chain, then fight the big blue crab(he is a boss), and get another pile of loot. rinse, repeat. and 3 chests are around the area, and regen.
And what Alikr dungeon for weapons/armor?
Dude, joined a group in alik'r, thought we'd dungeon drop and stuff, all they wanted to do was go from one chain to another, to another, to another. I didn't have them all discovered so i had to go alone to places, and then said screw it, i can stay at one chain and get same stuff.
Whats the point of grouping for chain farming???

Ok. I'll be on in about 30 minutes.
I will meet you at the wayshrine at 3:35 CST.
I was NOT at the right wayshrine. I went NE and actually had to swim there because I didn't know the area well enough.
See ya soon
