Echo on Xbox Live

No matter what headset I use I get an echo when I talk on Live. My brother connects his xbox to the same network and he doesn't have this issue so I don't think my network is the problem. Has anyone had this problem and found a solution to it?

I thought about that but my xbox is set to only have voices come out through the headset but my brothers may be set for both which might have caused the problem.

don't download porn during gaming. it slows down your connection.
