probably the same story. off work for two days straight so I'm going to be very productive outside of class, let me tell you.
I did become a member of Solaire's covenant, which is lovingly called the Sunbros by the community or so I've gathered. Makes me easier to summon up for co-op and I learned the "Praise the Sun" gesture. I'd call that a win.
I don't mind a little jolly cooperation until I join the Darkwraiths and commence murdering everyone.

Screw Solaire. He got his arse kicked up and down by the knights in the hallway, then came in and got immediately killed by O&S. He was of no use to me.
He did help with the gargoyles though. He's 1-2 now.

Solaire is very incompetent. He's just an outlet for being summoned easier and having a kickass golden aura.
I, on the other hand, spew homing soulmass and soul spears like there is no tomorrow. Those things hurt. Unless you're the four kings, of course.

I bounce back and forth between covenants.
I've tried going over the wiki page but this game is so much more in depth that I ever imagined. It's simple on the surface but if you look at wiki, the forums, and youtube...holy crap this game has a serious hardcore cult following, which I guess I'm becoming a part of. I literally have not played another game since last weekend. BF3 for maybe an hour. Dark Souls rest of night.

the game definitely has a lot more depth than you'd think.
I have played through several times, and I feel like I'm barely scratching the surface in terms of covenant/online play and experimenting with different playstyles.

I saw one of those for the first time yesterday when I was playing. I had no clue what it was ... so I decided to kill it and recieved 10 Humanities for doing so

The crab things? Yes, I encountered one on the way to fighting the capra demon on Sunday. I can't remember what I got from killing it.

I know what you mean. I think it's kind of becoming what Diablo 2 was for so many people, myself included. With all the build designing for pvp or coop, etc.
I hadn't played the game in a long while, but this thread has totally renewed my interest.

However, I primarily played as a hollow until I picked this game back up about a month ago.
I have been human 99% of the time with my two new characters, but so far that has only opened me up to a shitload of invasions.
