Just getting back into gaming. Are these worth buying? Can you recommend some more games. I like COD, NCAA FB, Uncharted, GTA, God of War, etc... Also, if you have some you want to sell, let me know. TIA

i wouldn't get either at this point in the year. crysis was mediocre at best. bfbc 2 is over a year old. i'd wait a month and get the new ncaa fb, that should hold you over til october and november for battlefield 3, uncharted 3, and modern warfare 3.

What game did you play? I thought it was a solid game, and of course it looks amazing, but gameplay was damn solid. IGN gave it a 9 fwiw

The multiplayer was pretty engaging. It has level-ups/perks/weapon variety that come standard with an FPS. I thought it was pretty fun.

well, i guess it depends on what console you played it on. i was one of the unlucky ones that played on the ps3. and we all know it was shitty on the ps3. matchmaking was horrible. i was in a lobby for literally 5 minutes, back out, tried to find a lobby, ended up back in the same one as before, waited another 5 minutes, and finally, finally got in a match.

So you hate a game because the multiplayer sucked? Did you even touch the campaign? It was beautiful and a solid story

nah, i didn't have time for the campaign. i rented it twice to check out the multiplayer. i did play the first 2 or 3 missions, but beyond that i didn't touch. but yes, multiplayer sucked. i would walk past someone and be 5 feet behind them and he would melee me and kill me. i wouldn't even show up in the kill cam.

no offense but

To call a game mediocre without playing the campaign especially one that was supposed to be campaign heavy just makes no sense. Not flaming or anything, just saying

from what i did play, it was nice and purty and all but it wasn't enough to keep me interested. notice i didn't buy it after i rented it.

It was great but really short to me. Only 3 or 4 of the puzzles really held me up long, but they say that the multiplayer is pretty long.

Pretty much this. Once you got past the first 2-3 levels things started picking up. Some of the later missions can be pretty intense.

Also portal 2 is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
