There's just so much to do that I'm pretty sure it might be impossible to get 100% done.
It is impossible to completely finish. Well you can do all of the story quests but the bartenders and certain other people have an endless supply of quests that they generate.
I already have 100 hours into the game.
For the money there is no better value than an Elder Scrolls game. The amount of content really does put almost every other game ever made to shame.
All those wargames with 10 hours of campaign gameplay are total BS. Total Ripoff. Companies have conned you guys on online multi play and they give you almost zero content yet charge the same money.
By the way, I have 100 of play so far and I have only done the first part of the main quest, haven't touched the thieves quests yet, only done the first mage quest and haven't started the dark brotherhood.
Simply put, the game is huge, looks great, super music, spooky atmosphere in some dungeons, greatly improved combat dynamic, greatly improved AI.
Simply put, the best game ever made and not even close.

I'm not a regular on this board but what happened to the thread where the two posters were having a slapfight over Skyrim vs. Arkham City? Has the winner been been announced yet?

I'll just put it this way. For the past 5 years, I haven't played anything but sports or racing games on my xbox. I bought Skyrim due to the popularity on this board. I can say it is easily my favorite game I have ever experienced.
+1
I have always been a Fifa/Football/Racing/FPS gamer, with the exception that I played, and enjoyed, Fallout 3 (but still only got about 30-40 hours out of it).
Never played another fantasy game of any sort before Skyrim - talk of mages and spells and potions, warrior class versus thief, etc, used to bore me to death. The 100 page thread on here, plus a couple other threads floating around out there, convinced me to give this a shot based on it's immersiveness.
I am about 17 hours in, and when considering the scope and quality of the content in this game, I can honestly say it is the best game I've ever played for any platform/format, and by an amazingly wide margin.

Bought it this morning. Working from home and Skyrim go together nicely.

That's a recipe for disaster...

Skyrim + Work? Skyrim Job

Skyrim + Work
It's more like genetics, where Skyrim is the dominant allele and work is recessive.

Rent it at Redbox for $2 and give it a 24hr test drive.
It's very different from CoD or madden. I love it but it isn't for everyone.
