i don't feel like the RDR haters are painting an accurate picture of RDR
if you even somewhat got a good time out of any of the GTA series game, you will love RDR.
- graphics & attention to detail are stunning in HD
- the storyline is captivating
- you have the ability to chose good/evil and the game change upon that.
- the map seems enormous compared to the GTA's
- it is set in a different time frame than anything else out there
- there is more to do than just the story line
+ survivalist, hunting, sharpshooter, & treasure hunting challenges
+ outfits to unlock
+ you can play poker, 5-finger filet, dice, blackjack, etc
+ there are random interactions small missions to do for random strangers all the time to earn money, honor, fame
+ you can go hunting
i mean for the first probably 10 hours i owned this game all i did was go around stirring shite up, exploring, and hunting.
maybe, it's just me but i think some on here are selling RDR short, it's worth the $60, and quite frankly for me is a great change of pace from the intensity that is MW2.

Uninteresting story, whiny and superfluous protagonist, gameplay that is either too easy with auto-aim assist or too hard without it, multiplayer that needs tweaking.
It's fun and it'll keep you engaged for a few days, but you'll get bored soon.
