Consoles that support 8K are pointless

How will you notice unless you're playing on a movie theater sized screen? I Wish Sony and Microsoft would put more emphases on larger SSDs since the best games these days can require up to 200 gigs. 2TB should be the minimum they offer.

Upscaling engines on high end 8K sets are pretty damn good these days. Can only imagine years down the road when 8K is more mainstream.

Given how long life cycles are, I think it's fine to support it for later use.

Dw, they'll address this with the pro editions that'll come out in a few years

You’ll see these versions in time for Holiday 2023, around the mid-cycle for this generation.

It’ll help little Braxton convince his mom that there is a difference Between a PS4 and 5 because “4K” has been drilled into her head marketing wise for years. So 8K will sound like something, even if it is nothing, and Braxton will believe it’s something, even if it is nothing.
