True, but they had to start from scratch regardless. Built from ground up. The Dev Team stated that most of the old data and models from NCAA 14 weren't usable.

So, props to them for navigating the technical, business, and cultural challenges against ridiculously high expectations to knock this out of the park year 1.

I know this reply is 3 days later but yes.

Have to set it up on the same network but mine will connect from anywhere. Only really good for recruiting. I wouldn't trust it playing any ranked or user game.
