Figured I'd start this thread since the old thread has been pretty dead. If you're unfamiliar with the logistics of how Clan Wars works, refer to THIS THREAD from the Supercell forums that'll answer most of the questions you have.

We should wreck them dudes. I like my war setup. I put all my heavy defense up top to bait bombs and spring traps. I will jizz myself if I catapult 6+ giants in my cluster of spring traps. I've gotten 5 so far with it.

My base is not designed for an interior th. That will jack the flow up.

Well if your TH is outside then that's a garunteed star for the enemy. I read it doesn't affect your actual loot so just put your TH where your collectors would go

I left TD2 to help out my kids in their clan, but haven't been able to get back in due to lack of space. TD3 doesn't seem to have very many active participants.

Almost maxed out TH7 here. About to start my th8 upgrade:)

So our we got stuck in a fricked match and nothing is on the war map at all. Sucks.
But for a strategy I was considering this.
Have the bottom people attack first and have them start from the bottom and work their way up on attacks.
Let the higher people hold off on attacking until later in the attack day. So you know how many stars you need for the win. Then attack as needed to get them.
