I would like the specs to play BF3 at the highest possible settings. I need this broken down Barney style if possible.
if you can't find answers, let me know. My bil builds gaming rigs. I may have him build me one soon.

You absolutely need to decide what monitor and what resolution you will be running and work backwards from there.

I would wait a month or two. You will see the Intel IVY bridge CPU's and the new Nvidia cards.

I got a new laptop early last month, my old one quit so I upgraded an HP Envy 17 to my liking.

Don't game too much on PC, beat The Darkness II on this thing, and Diablo 3 will live on it for quite awhile.

17.3" 1080P LED display
Intel Core i7 2760QM 2.4GHz with TurboBoost 3.5GHz
2GB AMD Radeon 7690M Discrete Graphics
8GB 1600MHz RAM
160GB SSD+1TB 7200rpm HD
Blu-Ray player+burner

Came to slightly $2,000 but if you're smart when buying from a retailer like HP/Dell/Alienware or anything you google coupons, and I found a 30% coupon knocking it down to under $1,500
