That’s what I thought. It reminded me of this video.

Meh.
I hear you, I've completely checked out of the last 2 CODs and it had already taken a nosedive before those. Can't see this getting too much playtime with GTA 6 being out then as well.

nothing wrong with that....BUT
My interest in this one, and honestly the last several CoDs, comes down to one question: did they finally listen to the people actually buying and playing the game? (or are they still taking advice from the retarded streamers?) If they still haven't gotten the message by now, I'm not sure they ever will.
I'll happily spend $60 and 50+ hours on Call of Duty again when they stop pretending these issues don't exist:
1 - Tone down SBMM. Every public match shouldn't feel like I'm playing for a million dollars. Prioritize connection over skill.
2 - Stop updating the fricking bundle/skins store faster than the actual game. Feels like they have three teams working on bundles and one intern working on multiplayer. And the last few CODs a lot of the bundles have been AI slop. That's disgusting.
3 - Cheaters. Don't tell me they're under control. Anyone who's played the last few CoDs knows better.
4 - Maps. Outside of remakes, how many new maps from the last 4-5 games does anyone actually remember? Most are cluttered, play like crap, and are instantly forgettable.
5 - Quit constantly forcing a new weapon meta. Every few weeks the newest gun magically becomes the best gun in the game. At some point it's hard to believe that's an accident.
2 bonus complaints:
I want persistent lobbies back. I miss jumping into existing lobbies as a solo player or with a squad, playing a few rounds against the same people and there being shite talk between matches. It's what makes the game competitive, fun, exhilerating for me. Not constantly be forced by some hidden algorithm that determines my percieved skill then forces me into only lobbies with 11 other players at the same skill level. I miss just shitting on kids who run their mouths in lobbies. I don't want to play streamers and wannabe COD pro's every fricking match who run only the META.
I want non-millitary player skins gone. I don't want to be killed by Cardi B, Snoop Dogg, Beavis, or American Dad. It's just too much. It's Call of Duty, not Fortnight.
And the biggest issue of all... Warzone.
It feels like Warzone has been the priority for the better part of a decade. Traditional multiplayer and the campaign have become side projects whose only purpose is to feed players into Warzone and the microtransaction store. Make it two seperate games, completely. A yearly/bi-yearly $60 COD Multiplayer and Campaign game. And a free live service Warzone. Then pump all your micro-transaction bullshite through Warzone. There should be no cross-over whatsoever. That gives everyone what they want.
The day Activision starts treating 6v6 multiplayer and their campagins like the flagship again instead of an accessory to Warzone is the day I'll start paying attention. Until then, I'll keep my $

Preach.
However, I prioritize 3.
All of your points are extremely valid, however, the other things are annoyances. Cheaters will make me not play.

I’ve played before, it’s ok

Yall say this about every single game. At some point any game will seem reskinned as they continue to make more games of a certain genre. Call of Duty, Halo, Assassin’s Creed, College Football, Madden, God Of War, Gears of War all the same
