From some of the previews I watched, you get to use more of Divinci's toys this time than just the flying machine...looks like a lot of them and a lot of fun.

If you didn't play the first one, the eagle emblems on your map are the "high points" in each area to open up the rest of the map. Those will be your taller places (unless you are out in the countryside and they may be short)

Sweet, you can still climb up tall buildings and stuff? I used to like doing that. Then I had to get back on my horse for another hour.

You can and in ACII you had to meet a thief who taught you how to do a different jump to be able to reach places you couldn't before. Also the horse riding on II (as I have not played Brotherhood) is not like the first one...you ride just a little bit as before, but instead of riding all through the damn country, you just move on to the next place. So not as tedious

In Brotherhood you can ride your horse within the city.
