Anyone still playing Fortnite?

My daughter has been playing it, and I figured I’d give it a try. I know people make fun of it, but it’s pretty fun. And yes, I know: Welcome to 2018 lol.

I still play it regularly with a couple friends twice a week. This season is actually a lot of fun, and the gun meta this season is way better than the last few seasons.
They just need to get rid of the UFO's, that's my only complaint.

I agree. I hate the mini-game when you get sucked up into the ship as well. I mean, there’s potentially great loot, but UGH.

Or if you shoot them down, the pilot needs to take a lot of fall damage. I know you can hit them inside the UFO but still

So I shot one down yesterday in solos, and he took 89 dmg after it exploded plus I tagged him twice on the way down. It made for an easy push.
I've really been trying to focus on being more aggressive in fights. My mechanics and building are solid, I just don't look for open shots enough.
I suck at the mini-game. The best loot I've gotten so far is Blue.

I got the Legendary loot once, but I’m not sure how.
I just started playing a month or so ago, so my building is nearly nonexistent. I’m trying to learn, though. I was trying to make Warzone happen for a while, but I’m just trash. Maybe it’s the 3rd person view and range of vision that make Fortnite more approachable.

You have to collect those gold orbs that fall. It's just a pain because you get shot away from them so easily. The more you collect, the higher your reward tier goes
The other day, I got picked up by it while knocked, came out of there with full health instantly, six minis and a couple big shields, got back to 100 each and wound up winning

I’ve been on and off again since Chapter 2. Played all of Chapter 1.
Ever since Season 5 I’ve been playing more regularly, though as it’s gotten better. Really dug the bow season and surprisingly, I really like this season as well apart from UFOs

I just switched to Xbox a couple months ago from playstation. I wouldn’t mind playing it again but I don’t think I’ll have any of my skins so I wouldn’t feel like getting more. I may download it again.

My 5 year old plays it pretty much all day. I play with him from time to time, but I can't build for shite. This season is really fun though.
