Oh man this game is good. Can’t recommend it enough. Might be my favorite ‘Metroidvania’ style game ever. Great gameplay, story, and characters.

I've been following this developer for years. They are the Taiwanese group that got in trouble for accidentally including a reference to Winnie the Pooh in their horror game Devotion. Even Good Old Games pulled it from their store, presumably due to pressure from China, and never brought it back.
I preordered Nine Sols and have been impressed with it so far, but I think it will probably be too hard for me, like Sekiro was. But unlike Sekiro this game has an easy mode I can use if I have to.

The difficulty is pretty manageable once you get comfortable with parrying, until the final boss. She’s up there with the hardest souls bosses on the normal difficulty
