Are console players pooled, play against cpu over lords?

Is it cross play? I know nothing of it. Wonder if the load times are ridiculous

I really want to buy it but this review on XBox has me a bit worried: "I'd rather have a 12 hour anal session with my dog than play this waste of a game".
Most of the reviews are horrible with the main critique being that the game lag is unbearable when you encounter other players. I'll probably wait.

Yeah I'll wait too. I enjoyed playing it early on PC but it became too much with the load times

I did. We have a clan and built an awesome first base on a decent server. It is laggy at times and feels more like a beta. But it’s fun as hell.

I play on ps5. The server issues are terrible. Game completely crashes at least once an hour. I get super pissed because in a game like this, server lag and game crashes can be fricking tragic.

Yep
There is a major update coming this week that will supposedly improve a lot of the server problems

Bought it earlier today on Xbox One. The game doesn’t even work. It’s gets to the loading world screen and crashes back to the main Xbox Home Screen...tried it 7 times and gave up.
